This Mouth Cancer Action Month we’re asking you to be mouth aware and know the signs and symptoms of mouth cancer.
Early detection is key so know what to look for!
Mouth cancer can occur on the lips, tongue, cheek and gums so look at these areas regularly and be aware of any changes. You should look out for:
· Ulcers which do not heal within three weeks
· Red and white patches on the mouth
· Lumps or swellings in the mouth, head or neck
